Hand Carved from reclaimed Catalpa wood sourced in Greenpoint, this spoon features a smooth texture and gentle grain, making it ideal for cooking and serving. Its natural finish accentuates the wood’s delicate patterns, while the handmade design guarantees a one-of-a-kind utensil inspired by the hidden spaces of the city. The branches were obtained from a tree trimmer working in the backyard of “El Pinguino” in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The spoon is finished with walnut oil and beeswax.
